NexPhase Capital Acquires Kunversion & Inside Real Estate

New York, NY-November 14, 2016

NexPhase Capital, LP (“NPC” or “NexPhase”) today announced its acquisition of Kunversion and Inside Real Estate – leaders in marketing and sales software utilized by residential real estate agents and brokers. The two entities have been merged and will operate under the Inside Real Estate brand.

Kunversion is a leading software and marketing solutions platform employed by agent teams and brokers. Inside Real Estate augments the Kunversion platform by adding unique capabilities for larger brokers, including seamless integration with transaction systems, full marketing and sales lifecycle tracking, as well as analytics and other emerging enterprise features.

The acquisitions occurred after a flurry of recent product releases from both companies, including a new customer relationship management (CRM) mobile app, Facebook lead-generation tools, advanced lead routing, agent-management capabilities and integration with other industry solutions.

With common technology used by both entities, seamless integration of the platforms has already led to substantial unification. These integrations allow customers to leverage the broader functionality of a combined platform that not only serves the unique needs of small agent teams, but also large, multi-region, multi-office brokers.

“This investment aligns well with our software investment strategy. We are very focused on making investments in growing B2B software businesses with industry-leading technology platforms and proven management teams. We are confident that Inside Real Estate will continue to strengthen its already strong position in the residential real estate marketing and sales software market.” said Bob Gartland, Vice President at NPC.

“We couldn’t be happier to have found a partner that has the capacity and experience to take Kunversion to heights considered unachievable by the current leadership,” added Justin Tracy, founder of Kunversion. “We now have the infrastructure and funding to play with the big boys and take the lead in the real estate CRM marketplace.” Mr. Tracy is CTO of the combined businesses.

The leadership team will be headed by CEO, Ned Stringham. Mr. Stringham has a strong track record of successfully building sales, marketing and cloud-based software businesses and also acts as an Operating Partner of NPC Pacific Crest Securities, a division of Keybanc Capital Markets, served as financial advisor to Kunversion.
